In 2021– 2022, Kwame had an opportunity to participate in a public exhibit facilitated by ArtWorx TO. ArtWorx TO Hubs are designed to amplify the artistry and creativity of local artists across our city. As a proud Scarborough native, Kwame was honoured to be able to showcase his Backbone Park design concept at Scarborough Town Center.

As a Black multidimensional artist, he’s always dreamed of having an opportunity to offer his contributions to the city landscape, while also hoping that sharing this journey in his own words, in his own way—The Blak Brush way, would help to remind all of us to never stop dreaming. 

The design process is currently underway and we are looking forward to sharing more details about this incredible project really soon!
